Kim Hung Fundraising Society is a group of 7 volunteer parents who are working together to create unique opportunities students throughout their K-9 School experience.
School budgets cover the basics, we add the FUN!
Without an active and engaged fundraising community, all the little extra’s would not be possible. We support school programming and equipment purchases that benefit all of our students.
Our goal is to provide enriched educational, recreational, and cultural experiences for children and families in our school and community. Everything from recess equipment, to field trips, the playground outside to chrome books
We make things happen
Our impact has been impressive, and we aren’t slowing down. Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve achieved
- Contributed $2000 to outdoor sports equipment used during recess
- Fundraised and spearheaded our Granville Playground to a total of $705,000 through countless volunteer hours, grant applications and collaboration with community league and corporate partners
- Provided a staff recognition thank you gift in 2021 for the teachers and admin
- Reduced field trip costs to parents for programs such as DancED in 2020 and 2022
